Don’t miss out on this unique opportunity!
Maine potato growers and others in the industry are invited to a special Open House hosted by Crane Brothers Farms in Exeter, Maine on Friday, January 23.
Crane Brothers recently completed a first of its kind “envelope” Maine potato storage, which they are pleased to show and explain at this event for others in the industry.
The program will start at 10:00 a.m. at 2 Mills Road in Exeter. Guest speakers include Todd Forbush of TechMark Ventilation; Mark Rice of Hansen-Rice Construction; Ricardo Griffin from Frito-Lay; and Alvin Winslow from Syngenta.
Crane family members will be giving a few short presentations as well as a building tour. Jim Crane will give a project overview, Steve Crane will discuss the operation of the building systems, and Ryan Crane will present a cost comparison of the Hansen-Rice system vs. the buildings they replaced.
Syngenta is providing lunch for attendees at the Open House. Those who plan to attend should RSVP to Ryan Crane (207-659-3498) or Jim Crane (207-659-4983) so Alvin can have a head count for lunch.
